An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Senior Operations Administrator / Team Leader to join a busy and growing operations team. This pivotal role involves overseeing administrative functions, coordinating operational processes, and supporting overall business performance within a fast-paced environment.
You will take ownership of office administration, lead a small team, manage CRM systems, and ensure efficient workflows, accurate reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for a proactive professional looking to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency across the business.
This position may suit candidates with experience as an Operations Coordinator, Business Support Administrator, Admin Team Leader, Office Manager, Senior Office Administrator, or Administration Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, support, and develop the administration team to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Operational Coordination: Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective communication.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
- Quotations: Prepare and issue customer quotations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Order Processing: Manage purchase orders and ensure all associated documentation is processed efficiently.
- Warranty Management: Coordinate warranty requests with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Reporting: Produce operational reports, KPIs, and management information as required.
- Compliance: Oversee supplier pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and maintain required documentation.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal audits and ISO record-keeping requirements.
- Training Administration: Maintain and update the company training matrix.
- Health & Safety: Support reporting and record-keeping for health and safety compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to administrative and operational processes.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior administrative, team leader, or office management role
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Experience working with CRM systems and data management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with compliance, auditing, or health & safety processes is advantageous
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and team-oriented approach
