Design Lead | £40,000-£50,000 | Remote

We are looking for an experienced Design Lead to support the delivery of electronic and physical security system designs within data centre environments. Working closely with BIM/CAD Technicians and technical teams, you will lead design coordination, review client requirements, and ensure high-quality, compliant design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of security system design packages. 
• Coordinate design activities across disciplines. 
• Review client documentation and make informed design decisions. 
• Identify and resolve design issues, providing practical solutions. 
• Produce base "spots and dots" layouts. 
• Conduct ironmongery reviews and design validations. 
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance. 
• Apply a strong understanding of design matrices and key technical design elements. 

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electronic and physical security systems. 
• Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills. 
• Experience with AutoCAD. 
• Knowledge of Revit and BIM environments.
