We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of electronic security projects across the utilities sector in the East Midlands to Yorkshire region.

This role requires a technically strong Project Manager with a background in security systems engineering, capable of managing projects end-to-end while leading teams, engaging with clients and ensuring delivery to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage security projects from initial planning through to commissioning and handover
  • Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple sites
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans and timelines
  • Attend site meetings, conduct surveys and review technical drawings/specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and support to installation and commissioning teams
  • Monitor project progress, budgets and performance, reporting to stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
  • Manage procurement, costs and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations across all sites
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Support commissioning activities and final system handover
  • Conduct technical and H&S audits on engineers and subcontractors

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the electronic security industry
  • Previous hands-on experience as a Security Systems Engineer
  • Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and integrated systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system designs
  • Strong organisational, planning and leadership skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence
